Blue Peep on rifle
Elevation adjustable blued steel bolt mounted peep sight. This sight replaces the ugly safety. It is elevation adjusted by turning it in or out and uses a knurled finger nut to lock it in place. Windage is adjusted by moving the front sight left or right in its dovetail.

To effectively use this peep sight, you will need to remove the barrel mounted rear and fill the dovetail cut in the barrel and plug the drilled and tapped holes under it with:

Great sight that extends the sight radius to a full 20" on my .357 Mag, 20" carbine. I expected to file another slight grove in the insert for the pin to ensure it was tight and it was a simple task. The sight is great and besides the increase in radius, it helps increase my Depth of Field so with my handloads I can plink at bowling pins at 200yds.

After a little work and adjustments not to mention the above and beyond customer service from Steve my Rossi 92 now is ready to go and really is an improvement over stock sights especially for older eyes

I installed this sight on my Rossi R92 .357 with a 24" octagonal barrel. When I first tried to install the sight, it was a very loose fit such that it was essentially unusable. It wobbled side to side some but also could be rotated back and forth in the hole quite a bit. I looked through the pin hole and saw that when the bushing was rotated so that the clearance groove didn't match up, there was very little of the bushing protruding into the pin hole. The bushing's clearance groove was too deep to create a snug fit when the pin was installed. So using a small needle file, I made a MUCH smaller groove on the opposite side of the bushing. When I drove the retention pin in the bushing was now held firmly in place, no wobble at all. This is something that you might mention in the installation instructions. The sight picture is soo much better than with the stock rear sight. Overall, a valuable addition to any Rossi with a bolt mounted safety.

This is a shottily made product. Perhaps for cowboy action shooting it is okay, but the standard buckhorn sight is quicker anyway. To make a long story short, the sight shifts back and forth which ruins any chance of repeatable accuracy. Also the steel is cheap, each adjustment of the sight weakens it. While making an adjustment, the sight snapped and $60 went down the drain

Just got one of these for my 24" octagon barrelled M92. Installed easily, works great for these old eyes. Would like to have another half rotation on the threads to drop the peep just a bit more but it's very functional.

Perfect for a Rossi Ranch Hand!!! My father in law gave me his .45 Colt ranch hand for some work I did at his shop. He couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn with it. I did some research and found out about the sights being just wrong and decided to fix the problem, that was 4 years ago and my father in law has since passed away. I only shot a few rounds and put it away with the thought of getting different sights someday. My parts package from Steve’s arrived today 2-21-19 and within an hour I had swapped out everything. WHAT A DIFFERENCE, POA is now POI. If you’re on the fence and not sure it’s worth the money take the plunge, you won’t be dissatisfied! I coupled it with the taller “small ivory bead” front sight and bought the extra peep aperture kit. Well worth every penny! I can finally put lead on target! THANKS STEVE!!!!
