This kit consists of a new blue studded forend cap along with the wood screw type stud for the buttstock. It also includes a drill bit to install the Sling stud on the buttstock.
This “Sling Stud Kit” won’t loosen your mag tube.
Avoid the sling swivel stud version that clamps to the mag tube. The Rossi mag tubes are held in place by notches in the tube that the band screws fit across. The clamp-on is notorious for loosening the mag tube
