What are the short punches for in the Rossi Tool Kit?
Answer:
The tool kit consists of an impact driver with 3 different tips along with 4 pin punches.
Use the impact driver to tighten or loosen various screws on your rifle. You use it by striking it with a hammer as you turn it. Use the large driver tip for the buttstock and hammer screw. The medium tip is used for most of the other screws and the small tip is for the forward band screw on the tip of the barrel.
The 4 pin punches consist of two sizes and two lengths. The larger one is for the lever to bolt pin and the smaller is for the extractor and safety pin. The two short pin punches are starter punches for difficult pins.
