If your gun is a late model it will have the yellow plastic follower. The plastic tends to swell, crack and hang up with time.
I have the original type metal mag followers.
My newest followers are now made from stainless steel.
FYI
If your 454 is one of the newest versions with the blue follower,
then pick "Blue Follower" in the "Existing Follower Type" dropdown picker, above.
If your gun is an older version, it will have one of the yellow or green plastic followers.
(To determine this, while empty, partially open the action and you will be able to see the end of the follower)
