This spring will work in rifles with barrel lengths of 24" or shorter. It will not rust the way your stock magazine spring does.
In barrel lengths shorter than 24 inch, the spring is inserted in magazine and cut 6” to 8” inches longer than the magazine tube for proper tension.
Be sure to pick your proper size.
